About
Aaliyah Osman

Aaliyah Osman is a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist and the founder of Aaliyah Osman Occupational Therapy, based at Ratchwood Family Practice. A Stellenbosch University graduate and Golden Key International Honour Society member, she has experience with school-based support, rural outreach, and private practice. Aaliyah is passionate about helping children reach their full potential in everyday environments — from the classroom to the playground and at home. Her approach is deeply child-centred, collaborative, and rooted in holistic development. With a warm, engaging presence, Aaliyah leads a team of dedicated therapists focused on empowering families and nurturing foundational skills for lifelong success.

“Every child is capable, unique, and full of potential. My greatest joy is helping them uncover that potential — one skill, one success, and one proud smile at a time.”

At Aaliyah Osman Occupational Therapy, families are welcomed into a safe, sensory-rich space designed to encourage growth through movement, play, and meaningful interaction. Therapy rooms are equipped with specialised tools like swings, climbing apparatus, and crash mats — all thoughtfully chosen to support sensory regulation and motor development. Aaliyah’s practice also extends beyond sessions, with parent and teacher training, in-school support, and a curated therapeutic product store to support progress at home. The team is committed to walking alongside families, offering consistent, compassionate support tailored to each child’s individual journey.

Aaliyah is an amazing OT. She loves her job and always goes the extra mile to make my kids feel at home and comfortable. She makes very good recommendations and take everything into consideration. I would recommend Aaliyah to anyone. And my kids are improving so well since they are attending OT.
